  • Experience: Minimum 05 years’ post qualification work experience in Open cast coal Mine in statutory capacity as Overman. Experience in greenfield coal mining projects in India shall be considered an added advantage.

Post 9: Overman Coal (Blasting)

  • Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering/ Mining and Mine Surveying from recognised institute of repute with 2nd class Manager Certificate/Overman certificate of Competency under CMR issued by DGMS for Coal. Valid First Aid certificate
  • Experience: Minimum 05 years’ post qualification work experience in Open cast coal Mine in statutory capacity as Blasting Overman. Experience in greenfield coal mining projects in India shall be considered an added advantage.
  • Consolidated Pay: ₹60,000/- per month

Post 10: Overman Coal (Shift)

  • Post Code / Grade: CE-04
  • Number of Posts: 07
  • Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering/ Mining and Mine Surveying from recognised institute of repute with 2nd class Manager Certificate/Overman certificate of Competency under CMR issued by DGMS for Coal. Valid First Aid certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum 05 years’ post qualification work experience in Open cast coal Mine in statutory capacity as Overman. Experience in greenfield coal mining projects in India shall be considered an added advantage.
  • Consolidated Pay: ₹60,000/- per month

Terms and Conditions of Contract

The engagement of selected candidates shall be purely on a contractual basis and will be governed by the following terms and conditions:

  • Contract Period: The initial period of engagement shall be for a maximum period of three (03) years or till the candidate attains the age of 60 years, whichever is earlier. The contract period may be extended based on performance and organizational requirement.
  • Consolidated Remuneration: The selected candidates shall be paid a fixed consolidated monthly remuneration as per the post:
    • CE-07: ₹1,00,000/- per month
    • CE-06: ₹80,000/- per month
    • CE-04: ₹60,000/- per month
    The remuneration may be increased up to a maximum of 5% annually based on performance.
  • Attendance & Salary: Payment of remuneration shall be based on actual attendance. Proportionate deductions will be made for any absence.
  • Age Limit & Relaxation: Maximum age shall be as per the post. Age relaxation shall be applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.
  • Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must be medically fit and shall undergo a medical examination at NMDC’s authorized medical facility.
  • Accidental Insurance: Candidates will be covered under a suitable Accidental Group Insurance Scheme for accidents occurring during the course of employment.
  • Medical Benefits: Out-patient medical expenses for self-treatment up to ₹35,000 per annum shall be reimbursed as per company policy.
  • Leave Entitlement: Contractual employees shall be entitled to:
    • 12 days of Casual Leave per calendar year
    • 20 days of Medical Leave per calendar year
    Unavailed leaves shall not be carried forward or encashed.
  • HRA & TA/DA: House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Travelling Allowance / Daily Allowance (TA/DA) shall be admissible as per NMDC rules during official tours.
  • Termination of Contract: The contract may be terminated by either party by giving one month’s notice or payment of remuneration in lieu thereof.
  • Other Employment: During the period of contractual engagement, the candidate shall not undertake any other employment, assignment, or consultancy.
  • Statutory Deductions: All statutory deductions shall be made as applicable under prevailing laws.
  • No Additional Benefits: Apart from the benefits mentioned above, no other monetary or non-monetary benefits shall be admissible.

  2. Complete the online registration process by filling all required personal, educational, and experience details carefully.
  3. Upload the following documents in the prescribed format:
    • Recent passport size photograph
    • Matriculation / 10th Class Certificate (Date of Birth proof)
    • Qualification certificates
    • Post-qualification experience certificates (as per DGMS format, wherever applicable)
    • Caste / Category / EWS / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen certificate (if applicable)
    • Scanned signature
    • Valid mobile number and email ID
  4. Pay the application fee of ₹500/- (if applicable) through UPI / Credit Card / Net Banking using SBI-Collect.
    Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from payment of application fee.
  5. After successful submission, download and print the filled-in application form and keep it safely for future reference.
  6. Admit Card / Call Letter for Walk-In-Interview will be sent to the registered email ID and can also be downloaded from the NMDC website.
  7. Candidates must attend the Walk-In-Interview at the specified venue with:
    • Printed Admit Card / Call Letter
    • Original documents along with self-attested photocopies
